Our templates are designed to bring all data from Jira into one generalized file, in which the data is presented in the form of graphs, charts and other infographics. It is convenient to present such data to managers, investors or clients. And most importantly, to use it in business intelligence: study and analyze data, build hypotheses and plans for the further development of the project based on them.
To use Sample Power BI Reports follow next steps:
Go to Sample reports page, select report you want to export and click Get Report button.
The data source for report is created automatically. Click Get report & Save button.
To open report in Power BI Desktop, open the file with name of the report in .pbit format, which is also created automatically.
Note: if change data source name in Step 3, then the .pbit file name will be also changed according to your choice.
When Power BI Desktop is loaded, it requires the data source URL to be entered.
Go to Power BI Connector and copy the data source URL, which has been created in Step 2.
Enter URL and click Load button.
Next select Basic authorization and enter your Jira username and password. Then click Connect button.
You can use the report after loading process is finished.
Note: If you need to add data to the report, you can do it by editing the data source of the report and adding the tables and data that you need
